An Very Delayed Update

Hi everyone,

I'd just like to tell you (as you may have noticed) that I don't use this blog much -- or at all, in fact -- anymore. I have since started a Facebook Page as well as joined Deviantart and Pixoto where you can see much more of my recent work. 

Apologies if you've been patiently waiting here for all these months with no real posts!

I am currently saving up for a Canon 650D DSLR, hopefully with a 70-300mm Sigma and another lens or two, which will encourage me to take even more pictures! 

I've also been accepted to the Click Club at my high school, at which we get to use a Canon 7D and 60D with a variety of quality lenses to take pictures of events in and around the school, and we also get to take them home on the weekends sometimes.
I've also done quite a few shoots for friends -- anything from sailing and car shows to family shoots and sunset pictures of my sister.

So thank you for patiently waiting, and I hope that you can see as much as I have how I have improved over the past months.

Cobwebs 'n Stuff

So, these pics are just some cool ones I took when we went for a picnic last week...

And now these next few are from my dad's friends birthday party we went to! :)

OK, these ones are really awesome in my opinion, I took them in Newlands Forest...

 This was at our "Sports Day", where we literally run around our field for 6-8 hours :D

Shriya and Amy, at our sports day... those things on their fingers were lights, because we ran from 4 o'clock until 10 o'clock at night....! :)

I Have a Way with Dragonflies...

This one's a bit dark, I know, but it's just to prove to you that I am sort of mastering slowing down the shutter to get movement, like in this one.

This dog was so cute; he stuck his whole head under the water, then like took a massive gulp, sighed heavily and then sat down in the pond/pool. :D

This dragonfly let me come less than a centimetre from his face; I was amazed :) Once again, I seem to have a way with dragonflies....
